I hadn’t really thought about it before, but after trying to colour this flower image with my red Copics I realised it was a lot harder to get the shading variation right compared with some of the other colour families. I do love the reds, but really struggled using them on this image – it ended up looking quite flat. Perhaps I’ll just use reds more for accents than large areas ;). And I must have been getting tired when I did this cute little robot too as this colouring is not good at all! Oh well, it’s a practice sheet right?!
